1. Agreement
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of FoodSafe Logbook. By registering, subscribing, or using the service, you accept these terms in full.
2. The service
FoodSafe Logbook delivers digital food safety logging and recordkeeping tools for Australian food businesses. The service is intended to support operational compliance and does not guarantee compliance with any law, regulation, or council requirement.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be authorised to create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials, restricting account access, and notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use.
4. Subscriptions and billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance.
- New accounts may be eligible for a free trial when offered at signup.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- No refunds are provided for partial billing periods except as required under Australian Consumer Law.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, submit false or misleading information, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security or performance, or use the service for any unlawful purpose.
6. Data ownership and privacy
You retain ownership of the data you upload or create. We process that data only to provide the service and as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
All software, content, design, and technology provided by FoodSafe Logbook remain our intellectual property or that of our licensors. Your rights are limited to using the service as permitted by these Terms.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
Our liability for any claim arising from these Terms is limited to the subscription fees paid during the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your misuse of the service, breach of these Terms, or violation of applicable law.
11. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are published means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for other lawful reasons. Termination does not relieve you of outstanding payment obligations.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
